Ultimate Lithium AA & AAA

Energizer offer a unique product that combines the advantages of lithium batteries with compatibility* with zinc and alkaline technology.

'Ultimate Lithium' offers the highest capacity AA and AAA batteries in high rate applications.

Applications are : digital cameras, GPS units, high intensity torches, night vision goggles, medical devices, headsets, radio communications and portable audio / DVD players.

* While generally compatible, the higher operating voltage and power delivery mean that this should be confirmed with the device manufacturer.

9V Lithium

The Ultralife lithium 9-volt battery is a fully compatible alternative to standard 9V batteries that lasts up to 5 times longer than ordinary alkaline and 10 times longer than zinc carbon equivalents.

It has the highest energy density, flattest discharge voltage curve, longest shelf life, widest operating temperature range, and lightest weight of any comparable 9-volt battery.

This and its 10-year service life make it ideal for many critical applications such as premium smoke alarms and medical devices.

Technical - AA & AAA

The key features are:

  • Lithium Iron Disulphide chemistry
  • Primary, non-rechargeable
  • Nominal voltage 1.5V 
  • Maximum open circuit voltage 1.83V
  • Compatibility* with standard AA and AAA zinc and alkaline cells 
  • Energy density 310 Wh/kg - 450 Wh/L
  • Temperature range -40°C to +60°C
  • Good high rate discharge capability (AA - 2 Amps continuous)
  • Excellent self discharge characteristics (reported 15 year shelf life)
  • Flat discharge characteristics under load

The key features are:

  • Lithium Manganese Dioxide chemistry
  • Primary, non-rechargeable
  • Nominal voltage 9V
  • Maximum open circuit voltage 9.9V
  • Compatibility* with standard PP3, 9V zinc and alkaline batteries 
  • Energy density 450 Wh/kg 650 Wh/L
  • Temperature range -20°C to +60°C
  • Good high rate discharge capability (120mA continuous)
  • Excellent self discharge characteristics (10 year shelf life)
  • Flat discharge characteristics under load
